This 3 day intensive workshop has been developed for both novices and advanced Pain Physicians, Anesthesiologists and any Medical Clinician who performs interventional pain providers who would like to either learn the basics or further advance their skills in pain management and ultrasound guided pain procedures.

Pain Board Review Overview & Objectives:

This 3 day board review course has been developed for both novices and advanced pain physicians providers who would like to either learn the basics or further advance their skills in the treatment of chronic and acute pain. The Board Review is a Comprehensive Review of the specialty of interventional pain medicine geared towards preparation for the ABA, ABIPP, ABPM, Osteopathic and other relevant pain management board certification exams. Residents, nurse practitioner’s, physician assistants, and non pain trained physicians will also benefit from the comprehensive yet condensed review of pain management.

Ultrasound CME Training Workshop Overview & Objectives:

Participants of the ultrasound guided injection training workshop will have up to 6 hours of hands on ultrasound scanning on live models and lecture to learn and identify different sono‐anatomy. At the end of the workshop, you will be expected to have gained thorough knowledge and immense confidence in the use of ultrasound for pain procedures

As a result of participating in this activity, the learner will be able to:

• Describe and discuss the basic principles of ultrasound

• Identify normal sono‐anatomy and aberrations

• Describe nerve blocks and procedures for various pain conditions

• Increase the ability to detect critical structures and improve patient safety while performing pain procedures

• Demonstrate needle insertion techniques for ultrasound guided nerve blocks, both in‐plane and out‐of‐plane

• Improve block success rate and patient satisfaction

• Perform nerve block | epidural and large joint imaging with ultrasound
